Suburbs in the Greater Cincinnati Area

Mason is one of Cincinnati’s growing communities located in southwestern part of the state. Named after William Mason, the Revolutionary war veteran, Mason was just known for farming for several decades and housed just a few thousand residents until 1970. However, in the next four decades Mason has grown to be a thriving Cincinnati suburb along with beautiful neighborhoods, good schools and a great economy. The town is appealing to many new residents and the reasons behind this transformation can be discussed as follows.

There are three main reasons behind the transformation. The first reason depends upon how people choose places to live in. One of the factors that people consider is the quality of the education system and Mason has an excellent school system. The Blue Ribbon Award for excellence has been obtained by Mason’s school system for the past several years. Beginning from preschool to high school, Mason has large schools with good recreational facilities and a natatorium. Besides, the system encourages the students to go for higher studies after high school and many parents are thus attracted to this system.

The second reason is based on the real estate factor. Though Mason is located just half an hour from Cincinnati downtown, Mason’s new homes are far less expensive as compared to even the older Cincinnati homes (but there are also some older and inexpensive Dayton OH homes for sale nearby if you are looking in Dayton to be closer to family than in Mason). Besides the cost factor, the homes are also more desirable and the home owners can get a lot more for the same amount in Mason as compared to Cincinnati. The well planned layout of subdivisions as well as neighborhoods attracts all buyers. The buyers can be satisfied that they had got the best value in real estate.

The third and the last reason is the booming economy. This is displayed in everything, from corporate businesses to the sale of Cincinnati residential property in and around Mason. Even the large corporate offices such as P&G have opened a center in Mason in consideration to the town’s growth. The entertainment factor has been considered too through the establishments of Great Wolf Lodge, Lindner Family Tennis Center, Beach Water Park and Kings Island amusement park.

This total package has transformed Mason into a busy business center and wonderful suburban community.
